The Expert streams

Improving Aviation Safety relies on experienced professionals specifically trained to the various aspects of incidents and accidents Prevention and Investigation.

The stream “Expert in Safety Management Systems – FSO” is dedicated to the training of Flight Safety Officers (FSO): the FSO is the advisor of the top management for the accident prevention policy; he settles the tools for the Safety Management Systems (SMS); he develops, implements, conducts and co-ordinates the Response plan; he may be involved in incidents and accidents investigations.

The stream “Expert in Aviation Accident Investigation - AAI” is dedicated to the training of Aviation Accident Investigators (AAI): the AAI acquires the knowledge about all aspects of the professional practice, both in a national and international context, of an aircraft accident investigation, covering civil as well military, light and heavy weighted, fixed and rotary winged aircraft..
